Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
Vile Analyziz (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our file analysis platform and related services.
By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our services.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and organization name. If you sign in through a federated identity provider, we receive the profile information you authorize your provider to share.
Uploaded Files
When you upload files for analysis, we receive and process the file contents. Files are used solely for the purpose of generating analysis reports. We do not access your files for any other purpose. See Section 3 (“File Handling”) for details on retention and security.
Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with our platform, including pages visited, features used, analysis requests, and timestamps. This data helps us improve the service and diagnose issues.
Device Information
We collect standard technical information such as your browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers. If you use our endpoint agent software, we also collect the hostname and operating system of the device where the agent is installed.
2. How We Use Information
- Analysis and Reporting: To process uploaded files, generate threat analysis reports, trust scores, and vendor intelligence for your organization.
- Service Improvement: To understand usage patterns, identify areas for improvement, and develop new features.
- Security and Fraud Prevention: To detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents, abuse, and policy violations.
- Communication: To send you service notifications, quota alerts, analysis completion updates, and (with your consent) product announcements. You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
- Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.
3. File Handling
We take the security and privacy of your uploaded files seriously:
- Encryption: All files are encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard encryption.
- Isolated Processing: Files are processed in isolated analysis environments with strict access controls. Only the analysis pipeline accesses file contents.
- No Public Sharing: Your uploaded files are never shared publicly, sold, or made available to other users or third parties. Analysis results are visible only to members of your tenant (organization).
- Retention: Uploaded files and analysis results are retained in accordance with your plan tier and organizational settings. You may request deletion of your files at any time through the portal or by contacting us.
- Public Uploads: Files uploaded without an account (public uploads) are subject to automatic retention policies and may be removed after a defined period.
- Automatic Binary Removal: By default, non-executable files (documents, media, configurations, data files, certificates, fonts) are automatically removed from storage after analysis completes. Only the analysis results and metadata are retained. Executable, script, archive, and package binaries are retained for potential reanalysis. Organizations can opt in to retain all file binaries if needed.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or uploaded files to third parties for their marketing purposes.
We may share limited information with the following parties:
- Infrastructure Providers: We use enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure providers to host and operate the platform. These providers act as data processors under strict contractual obligations.
- Your Integrations: If you configure third-party integrations (such as threat intelligence enrichment or SIEM connectors), data will be shared with those services as directed by you. We do not enable any third-party integrations without your explicit configuration.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users and the public.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential platform functionality (authentication, session management, preferences) and analytics to understand how the service is used and to improve performance.
No third-party advertising trackers. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising or cross-site tracking. Our analytics are used solely to improve the Vile Analyziz platform.
